Editing video projects using advanced timeline tools like Append, Insert, Overwrite, and Connect.
Refining edits with trimming, rolling, slipping, sliding, and working with the Precision Editor.
Audio mastering by removing background noise, creating audio fades, and using audio effects.
Stabilizing shaky footage and working with Ken Burns for dynamic motion effects.
Adding transitions and effects to enhance the visual style of videos.
Mastering speed changes including slow motion, fast motion, and variable speed adjustments.
Color correcting footage with white balance, color wheels, LUTs, and video scopes.
Synchronizing audio and video for multicam projects, including multi-angle interviews.
Editing multicam sequences by cutting and switching between synced video clips.
Creating custom titles and graphics by changing fonts, colors, and animating text.

Prerequisites:

Knowledge: Ability to navigate MacOS operating system, and intermediate understanding of Final Cut Pro and various broadcast industries.

Hardware: Apple Mac Computer capable of running the latest version of Final Cut Pro

Software: Final Cut Pro

Access: Internet access - a stable fiber connection of at least 10 Mbps up and down speeds is recommended.

The course is held remotely in a virtual classroom. All lectures are recorded and are available as reference material for two weeks after course completion.
