Please note that this course does not cover the video editing basics of DaVinci Resolve. Upon completing the course, you'll be fully prepared to take the certification exam.
By completing this course, you will master foundational and advanced color grading workflows within video editing, emphasizing both theoretical understanding and practical application. The curriculum focuses on optimizing workflows for efficiency and accuracy, including advanced node structures and group-based pipeline management. It delves into advanced image control and enhancement methods—such as keyframing, compositing, noise reduction—and explores working with high dynamic range (HDR) footage and raw media to maximize grading potential. Additionally, the course addresses comprehensive project delivery methods and the effective use of DaVinci Resolve panels like the Mini Panel.
Knowledge: Basic Computer Literacy: Ability to navigate operating systems (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
Experience: Although no specific prior experience with video technologies or Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve software is required, it is advised that students first complete “The Beginner’s Guide to DaVinci Resolve” and “The Editor’s Guide to DaVinci Resolve” courses to prepare for this course.
